First ever SHOOTOUT
Special Event Detials

Front Range Shootout at the Front Range Gun Club.

Each Shootout will consist of 3 matches each held approximately 30 days apart. The course of fire for all three matches will be the same and will be posted prior to each Shootout. There will be different classes and each class may have a different course of fire.

All manufacturers, makes and models can participate, we even have a classes for wheel guns and AR’s. You are welcome to shoot multiple classes on the same day, each class you shoot will cost $15. All classes will shoot centerfire ammo and no more than 50 rounds. If you shoot reloaded ammo we request that the power factor be at or near factory specifications, no mouse farts.

Shooters under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult and must be able to demonstrate good safety and handling skills. A waiver form must be signed by all shooters and those under the age of 18 by a parent or legal guardian.

Prizes and/or awards will be presented to the top shooters of the different classes at the end of the Shootout and the results will be posted on our website. Your top three scores in each class will be used to calculate your average and this average will determine your standings.

There will also be a firearm given away at the end of the Shootout. In order to be eligible for the giveaway you must have shot in at least three matches or three classes. For instance, if you show up for the first match and shoot three different classes that day, you are eligible, or if you shoot just one class on three different match days you are eligible. The more classes and the more matches you shoot the more tickets you will have in the fishbowl, thus the more chances you have to win the drawing.

At each match we also provide food and fun for the shooters. In between the savory brisket and perhaps a ball game on the big screen, we usually have some sort of giveaway. We will also try to have different vendors offering their products and services as well, so come early and stay for the afternoon as there will be plenty to do.

SAFETY RULES: NO HANDLING OF FIREARMS, AMMUNITION OR MAGAZINES ANYWHERE ON THE PREMISES EXCEPT FOR ON THE RANGE DECK AND ONLY THEN WHEN YOU ARE TOLD TO DO SO. BRING YOUR GEAR IN BAGS, CASES OR HOLSTERS AND LEAVE THEM IN THERE UNTIL YOU ARE ASKED TO REMOVE THEM. IF FOR ANY REASON YOU NEED TO REMOVE YOUR FIREARM FROM ITS CASE OR HOLSTER AND YOU ARE NOT ON THE RANGE DECK, YOU MUST FIRST MAKE AN EMPLOYEE OF THE FRONT RANGE GUN CLUB OR RANGE OFFICER AWARE OF YOUR NEEDS AND THEN THEY WILL CHECK AND CLEAR THAT FIREARM. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE RULES WILL BE GROUNDS FOR EXPULSION.

All shooters will begin shooting from the low ready position and reloads are mandatory between every course of fire.

Special Event Detials

RMGO Banner

As you know we strongly believe in the right of citizens to defend themselves.

This is no less true for our teachers.

As of now, Colorado teachers are not allowed to carry guns to protect and defend the lives of our children.

We hope to change this soon.

In the meantime we want to train as many teachers and school employees as we possibly can to defend themselves, their students, and their schools.

That's why RMGO is offering a special FREE concealed carry certification class for K-12 teachers and school staff members, including homeschoolers, on Friday, March 27th, from 6pm to 10pm at the Garden Room in Loveland.

If you are a teacher, school staff member, or homeschooler, make sure you don't pass this amazing opportunity!

To sponsor a teacher for this class, click the image below to donate today!

And, if you know of a Colorado educator that would benefit from this class, make sure you forward this email along to them!

Please click here if you are interested in sponsoring a teacher.

Information on how to register for this class or any of RMGO's other Concealed Handgun Permit Class(CHP)training courses can also be found by following the links on this page.

Thank you for your loyal support.
